"Dear Members,
I wanted to take a moment ot thank your for sponsoring my child (Tom) in the Summer Recreation Program here in Butler. Tom is the youngest of six children in a single-parent family. Butler Rec. is a luxury that I could not have afforded for him. Because I work alot in the summer it also provided much better supervision and structure for him, than he would have had at home with older siblings and video games. My children have been involved for many years with the Rec. program either working for it or participating in it. It is a great program, run by professional and caring people. You do a great service to our town's youth by making it possible for kids who might not otherwise be able to attend do do so. Again thank-you."

"To Whom it May Concern:
I just wanted to give my sincere thanks and gratitude for the scholarship you granted my little girl Sally for summer camp. Sally has been in the camp for her first week and loves every minute of it. She has had a hard life without any of the "special" extras like being able to have a place to swim or having regular friends due to my divorce and having to move so many times. You have given her the intangible gift of happiness and hope for the future and bettered the quality of life for not only her for the summer (financially I would not have been able to survive paying for daycare for her AND her little brother this summer) but you have also helped so that I can feed her better and her three-year-old little brother. Their father has not helped financially and I so appreciate what you are doing for Sally and your program in general is wonderful."
